When you work in the office every day you hardly notice these “little” things.  You should know that the patients see everything! “Company” is coming every day and you need to look successful in every way!

Look for chipped paint inside and outside the office, dirty rugs, little bugs and cobwebs in the light fixtures.  Replace worn out light bulbs throughout the office.  Sit in the treatment room chairs as if you were the patient.

Look outside in the dark as you are leaving the office. Install outside lighting for the safety of your patients and staff members.

Have pretty plants outside the office – even in winter you can plant ornamental kale, etc. and wreaths.  Clean up any litter around the outside of the office.

Hire a window cleaner to make sure that your windows inside and outside of the office are beautifully clean.

Make sure your equipment is in good repair.  Your staff can’t do their best service to your patients with inadequate equipment. Be sure to do any regular maintenance on the equipment. Repair any chipped paint on the equipment.  Upholstery should not have any breaks or tears.

Examine the reception room furniture and décor.  Replace worn items.  It has to look up-to-date and beautiful! Patients rate your services by how it looks!

Floors should be perfectly clean and new looking.  Even in the corners.  Replace stained or worn carpeting.  Arrange to pay over a few months if you need to.

Spruce up the patient and staff restrooms.  It shows that you care. Everyone will really appreciate it.  Assign a staff member to decorate them with pretty silk flowers. Add special liquid soap and hand lotion.
