This is the time that you should look at your office as if you were a new patient arriving for the first time. The appearance of your office should be fabulous! It reflects on the dentistry that you want your patients to accept. It is just like “Company is coming to your home!”
Look at your parking area. Are there cigarette butts on the ground? Trash that has not been cleaned up? Are there lights to protect your patients and staff members as they arrive or leave in the dark?
Look at the windows of your office near your front door. Are they sparkling clean? They should be! Does your front door show signs of wear? If so, make plans to paint it as soon as possible. You do not need a professional painter to do this. Just pick up a brush and a quart of paint at a hardware store and you or a staff member can take care of this in under an hour!
Now walk inside of your office and look at your reception room. Is it neat or are there magazines everywhere? Is the furniture new looking and company ready? If not, make plans to reupholster your existing furniture or purchase new. Are there chips in the paint on the baseboards or internal doors? Do the walls need to be repainted? It can be done professionally over a weekend so that you do not need to lose productive time.
This is the perfect time to take care of these tasks. Then your office will have a fresh new look for the new year 2026! Company is coming! It will make a huge difference!
