This is the time that your staff members need to start using the “Magic Words” again with your patients. That is to remind your patients that, if they have dentistry that needs to be done and if they have dental insurance benefits left to use for 2022, this is the time to get it scheduled. If you do not start talking with your patients NOW about this, by the time they remember, you will be so busy taking care of other patients as the year draws to a close that you may not be able to take care of them.
Remind them that the insurance companies are happy when they do not use the benefits because the companies get to keep that money for their business bottom line. The insurance companies will not encourage them to get their needed treatment done. Only your office can do that!
